PRESTON HOLLOW, DALLAS, TX
PROPERTY TO BE COMPLETED 2018
Years after building several alluring estates in Dallas, Paul received an unexpected call from a client in the medical field: He purchased an adjacent lot and had a specific vision. His ultimate dream? To build a second home on his new property and connect the two houses into one blended, world-class estate.
Paul tapped prominent architect Robbie Fusch of Fusch Architects to design a seamless, elegant residence that combines both homes while remaining true to Mediterranean architecture. Exterior characteristics include a red-tile roof, stucco walls and unique ornamental details such as a heavy wooden door and iron gates and classic Mediterranean exterior features as well. Inside, the home promises to be equally appealing, with features including a two-story oval-shaped loggia, an indoor-outdoor Italian rotunda and a freestanding glass wall wine cellar that will hold 1,000 wine bottles.
The grounds also will receive royal treatment: The client selected well-known landscape architect Harold Leidner to design a unique, state-of-the-art swimming pool and luxury gardens that will fill out the property. The homeowner plans allow his team to create a world class estate, whether in the outdoor spaces or interiors, the work will create a world class estate home.
Though the project is a feat that requires a new level of complexity for the contractors — coordination of all services, and an extensive approval process with the local municipality — Paul is excited to bring his clients’ plans and vision to fruition. “We are truly inspired by our client’s ideas and motivation to see his own creativity brought to life,” Paul says.
“The result will be a one-of-a-kind, first-class estate.”
